Whether it’s his continuous lyrics surrounding alcohol and soberness or his perpetual car ride anecdotes, Thomas Headon knows how to make a relatable EP with fun yet sophisticated production and vocal embodiment of true emotion. Today I made the difficult decision of where to place these addictive melodies in a ranking of one to five, and the task could not have been harder. I never thought I would have a five song EP on repeat, as I rarely have a whole album on repeat, but it looks as if Thomas Headon has challenged my inability to listen to the same song twice in less than half an hour.
5. The Most Beautiful Thing
This song truly is beautiful, no doubt about that. The only reason I have put it last is because as a slow acoustic song it is likely to be the one I listen to the least off of the EP. I do, however, think it’s a great addition (especially as the closing track) to Victoria, showcasing a more delicate heartfelt side of Headon’s songwriting.

4. Nobody Has To Know
Not to be dramatic or anything, but it feels illegal to put this song second to last when it was the first song I heard on the album and was apart of the reason I discovered this whole EP. But when you hear songs like the ones below, this exciting pop rock melody that would usually be my favourite on an album or EP just isn’t up to their top tier standard.

3. Victoria
It was intensely close between this song and Nobody Has To Know, however after a few more listens of this exhilarating pop beauty I cannot get enough of it and it’s in my head right this second. I honestly think the pre chorus is what we won me over here.

2. Strawberry Kisses
Obviously you are going to like this feel good anecdote of a song on your first listen, yet I only just realised when doing this post that I’m actually addicted to it and had to place it in second. How this has not even made it to the UK Top 40 is beyond me as it comes across as such a commercial piece of art that various members of the public would throughly enjoy.

1. How Do I Know?
The happiness this enlivening tune brings when listening to it is indescribable. There are songs that I adore which I often skip simply because I am not in the mood for them, but with How Do I Know? that is never the case. The lyrics feel somewhat spontaneous, as if Headon is fantastically improvising throughout the track.
