Kpop artist YooJung has recently debuted with two songs, one being the upbeat and tranquil blend of ‘Begin’. It’s clear that Yoojung has started off her discography with clean vocals and soothing instrumentals to match, which you will hear significantly in ‘Begin’.

What I Feel In Some Places – The Mary Onettes

Swedish indie rock success The Mary Onettes are back with another melody to soothe your soul, but this brilliantly produced dream rock tune is only the beginning for the band this year, what with the mini album of ‘What I Feel In Some Places’ being set to be released on the 1st of July.

Miss U – Ego Ella May

South London singer songwriter is back with another spetacular single ‘Miss U’, an amazing follow up to her flawless array of singles already released this year, including her EP ‘FIELDNOTES PT II’. ‘Miss U’ is a song for every mood, which is a very difficult sort of song to create, yet Ego Ella May’s mix of instrumentals and vocals create such a melodious, warm atmosphere.

Trailblaze – Cowgirl Clue

Electro pop artist Cowgirl Clue has her career all panned out really. Her intriguing sound does not stand alone; she has created an image and whole atmosphere with it. The style, the alliterative stage name, the voice. When you first hear ‘Trailblaze’, your first thought will be ‘indie’. But it’s so much more than that. Unique synths and tempo changes are just some of the nice surprises you will encounter.

Have you ever heard a song where there isn’t a better voice to match the sound nor a better sound to match the voice because they just fit so perfectly? That is ‘Today’ by LA musician Kowloon for you. The recurring chord sequence is still circulating my head right now, and I have no complaints.

Łaszewo are the trio you didn’t know you needed. And now you do. What I find admirable is how they make such an upbeat song so relatable, because I would find it hard to do only one. There are so many aspects of ‘Til U Hate Me’ that pop lovers crave, that indie lovers crave, that electronica lovers crave – making it a song of consistent variation.

Music producer Mitekiss has followed up his 2022 album ‘Bolivian Hotel Bistro’ with an enlivening single ‘FromU’ which explores a range of moods and undertones through an anecdote of an instrumental.

It’s evident that I never fail to throw a good rock number into the mix on my musical discoveries, but US band Secondhand Sound bring a little more to the table than just rock in their new single ‘Darby’. This comprises of significant note changes, versatile vocals and hints of other genres.

An invigorating electronic sound with an addictive melody is what I hear on Brighton based music producer’s latest single ‘Therapy’. The build up to the chorus is so elite that you’ll never want to listen to a different pre chorus again.

FOOL 4 U – MICHELLE

The incredible musical layers to ‘FOOL 4 U’ by New York six-piece is what makes it such a fascinating song to listen to, with the vocals changing in tone and pitch every few seconds and the satisfying flow from verse to pre-chorus, pre-chorus to chorus.

Company – Gen

It’s undeniable that ‘Company’ by Gen has vocals to die for, truly bringing out subtle hints of soul in this R&B pop melody. As soon as the silk-like waves of production are initiated in the intro, you know this song is going to be a hit.
