Cherry Blossoms In Kyoto – Jade Ashtangingi

Dallas-based Jade Ashtangini has released her beautiful track ‘Cherry Blossoms in Kyoto’. And if you think the title of the song is beautiful enough, wait until you hear the piano sequences -conjuring imagery, emotions and an atmosphere you’ve never felt before.

I Wouldn’t Change It – Zachari Smith

I was sure from the beginning of the song that I had to include folk/acoustic artist Zachari Smith’s ‘I wouldn’t change it’ on this list. The unforgettable tune and warm quality of the vocals go hand in hand with each other, with the lyricism then taking the song to another level.

Fight Harder – Emanuel Harrold

I don’t think I’ve ever featured something quite like Emanuel Harrold’s ‘Fight Harder’ on my blog. With such freshness and authenticity, the song has a fun instrumental and great tune. The music video is worth a watch too!

Peace – Pamela Scyne

I’m in love with the atmosphere created on ‘Peace’ by French musician Pamela Scyne. The instrumental alone was brilliant, and then I was even more stunned by the gorgeous vocals. The monumental ambience to it is resonant of sadcore/dreamcore musicians like Lana Del Rey.

arizona – DJ Wallace

I think I was initially looking for a song like ‘arizona’ to feature. In fact I think I’m always on the lookout for something modern with a great beat, but DJ Wallace really took this style and made it his own, putting his own print on the genre.

Good Feeling – Julia Nyunt

As soon as I heard ‘Good Feeling’ by Georgia-based singer Julia Nyunt, I knew it was a song right up my street. I could never not carry on listening to a song with such a powerful mixture of rich instrumental and mellifluous vocals. The perfect balance of upbeat and calmness in my opinion.

Nouveau Problème – ALBA

While I don’t speak fluent french, I can truly feel the atmosphere orchestrated by ALBA on this track. I also can’t go without mentioning how fascinating the concept of the music video is as well.

Right When The Sun Rises – Kiey

Electro-pop artist Kiey has taken pop to the next level with his single ‘Right When The Sun Rises’. He has the melody, the voice, the image. What doesn’t he have? You also will no doubt be mesmerised by the entrancing electronica he has added to the song.

Room – Liza

Liza has released two singles in one this month, and together they are titled ‘EGO’. It was really hard to choose which song to feature, but ‘Room’ truly captured the feelings she looks as if she is experiencing in the cover art. And it’s not quite upbeat, but still so melodic. Incredibly relaxing too.

Illusion – Carlie Hanson

An undeniably good tune. My favourite sort of indie, with a voice that narrates emotion perfectly and a carefree sound that still sounds so well put together. ‘Illusion’ will make you intrigued to hear even more of Carlie Hanson’s music.

Until my heart stops beating – modernlove.

With this adrenaline pumping song with a foreshadowing title will have you finding yourself bopping your head to every line. I’m not sure I’ve ever found a more precise fine line between pop and rock.

I could be your safe space – Beach Lab

Indie at its finest. The vocals drown ever so eloquently in the instrumental, which contributes greatly to the atmospheric sense to the song. It’s not hard to fall in love with the cascading complex arrangement of guitar strings, either.
