Theme II – Tilda Allie

‘Theme II’ by music producer, vocalist and visual artist Tilda Allie has a melody all listeners can endorse themselves in. An angelic instrumental provides a calming quality to the music as Allie sings passionately ‘I am perfect as I am’.

Try to Reach Me – Hjerteild

Danish artist Hjerteild hooks us right at the very beginning of ‘Try to Reach Me’, but the song only gets better. It’s hard to pin a genre to it – but there’s many elements of funk, indie pop and electronica – and together these make the melody a dreamlike listen.

Electronic pop artist 7KY releases his brilliantly produced single ‘CHEMICAL’ this month. It has a great upbeat melody, with an instrumental that allows us to delve into fascinating refreshing sounds.

THEO – Jack Panther

Jack Panther releases his first single of 2023 ‘THEO’, showcasing lyrics that follow a story and are relatable to a modern audience; ‘You’re leaning on the table, I’m feeling kinda unstable’. And it’s not just the words themselves that capture the attention of listeners, but the way that Panther sings them in a multitude of charming tones.

But Why? – Melrose

Polish production duo Melrose reveal a robotic, computerised sound on ‘But Why?’ that dominates the beginning of the tune. Then we explore a more traditional instrumental, and both of these opposing sounds take us on a thought-provoking journey asking the world’s big questions.

Opening with an acoustic intro, LANI introduces us to her soul soothing tune ‘chewing gum’. The chorus especially spotlights her wondrous and emotionally driven vocals, enhancing the already addictive melody.

Contributing to the ever-growing dream pop scene, London musician Jen Island releases her enchanting melody ‘I Wonder’. The vocals feel intimate, almost breathy as the instrumental adheres to each mood they portray.
